Rachel Tenner To Cast 'Walter Mitty' Remake

Ben Stiller's remake of 1947's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" will be cast by Rachel Tenner, Back Stage confirmed. Tenner, an L.A.-based casting director, has set up shop in NY to handle the project. "Mitty" tells the story of a timid photo-magazine editor who constantly fantasizes about a more interesting life, only to find himself in the center of a real adventure when he goes in search of a missing negative. Shirley MacLaine and Kristen Wiig are also attached to the project, which is scheduled to start shooting in NY in April. Tenner's recent credits include the Coen brothers' "A Serious Man," Oren Moverman's "Rampart," and the Adam Sandler/Andy Samberg comedy "I Hate You Dad," which is awaiting release.
