Lost in Space Robot Actor Dick Tufeld, who voiced the Robot around the sixties sci-fi series Lost In Space, died The month of january 22 at 85 as you're watching the National football league 2010 nfl playoffs. You might not know his title, but Tufeld produced a couple of TV's most long lasting popular culture catch phrases - "Danger, Will Robinson, danger" and "That doesn't compute." In 2004, TV Guide Magazine swept up with Tufeld, who had been still doing voice-over work. He'd lately retrieved from the paralyzed vocal chord, which stored him from speaking over a whisper until an uncommon operation came back his familiar voice. TV Guide Magazine: It's nice to speak to the smoothness that gave a lot of decades a lot pleasure. Dick Tufeld: You realize there is a man within the container can - Bob May. He needed to be there eight hrs each day around the set and slowly move the legs and arms and commit to memory all of the lines and speak them. Installed me into publish-production and that i named his voice in. TV Guide Magazine: Do you know were developing a legend? Tufeld: I'd labored with Milton Berle, Julie Andrews as well as on various award shows, so I didn't regard the voice from the Robot as very creative, distinguished work. I really learned that in 1978, after i would be a guest lecturer at Syracuse College for any type of about 300. The category sitting there impassively once the professor stated I'd done the Grammy Honours, Emmy Honours, advertisements, plenty of exclusive things. The final factor he pointed out was "And that he was the voice from the Robot in Lost in Space." All of them was up and congratulated! Which was after i grew to become conscious that the Robot had some kind of special niche in individuals television psyche. TV Guide Magazine: Lost In Space continues to be re-running for a long time. Tufeld: The show has been around distribution for 35 years, and it is running somewhere on the planet these days. TV Guide Magazine: That which was your preferred episode? Tufeld: "Something from the Species.' I fell deeply in love with a girl robot who switched to be evil and that i needed to zap her in the finish. TV Guide Magazine: Ah, real love. How have you obtain the gig? Tufeld: I had been the narrator on the program. The Robot wasn't within the pilot. Once they made the decision to place him in, my agent explained that Irwin Allen (the show's producer) desired to hear me perform the voice. I walked in and stated, "I suppose you'll need a mechanical robot-ian type of seem." He shook his mind, "That's just what I'm not going.Inch Used to do it over and over and that he finally stated, "I am not hearing things i want, I'll look elsewhere." I stated, "May I attempt yet another factor for you personally?Inch As well as in my best mechanical robot-ian type of seem, I stated "That doesn't compute." He stated, "That is what I needed! What the heck required you such a long time!" I needed to turn my back, because I had been hysterical. TV Guide Magazine: You have done perfectly through the Robot through the years. Tufeld: Without a doubt. Men who build robots want me to complete the robot voice with personalized lines. There is no doubt when time comes - that is what I'm going to be noted for. Round the Set Farewell to Chuck Part 3: Cast Tears and Favorite Moments

Chuck, Ryan McPartlin and Sarah Lancaster Zachary Levi doesn't have regrets that Chuck is ending with basically a 13-episode fifth season. "I don't appear like i had been cut short, as difficult since it is to close this last chapter relating to this journey," he told reporters inside a December set visit for Chuck's two-hour series finale (Friday, 8/7c, NBC). "In my opinion five seasons is actually a great time period. ... For something such as this, that's certainly story arcs and serial, the amount of crooks and missions is it possible to continue prior to deciding to appear as if you are repeating the identical factor? Therefore I appear like we've be a very perfect time period together which is been special from The Very First Day.Inch From Chuck to Nikita: TV's hottest crime mma fighters After five years in the geek acquiring the lady, far-flung fantasy spy missions together with a cavalcade of nerd-dom's finest guest stars, you can realise why Levin isn't exactly worrying. Really, he and also the fellow castmates were only too very happy to reminisce. See the Chuck cast's memorable moments in addition to their emotional reaction to the best season: Scott Krinsky, "Rob Barnes" "To date as Jeffster!, It's my job to think once we did Toto, the initial song. That merely stays with me at night. To start with, i had been scared in the brain of techniques this is received. And, wow, there is available a band now. And Toto, 'Africa'? Really? Now I am unable to go anywhere - if Toto happens, and i'm in the store, I'm like, 'Oh God, does anybody know who I am?A I start feeling very self-conscious. In my opinion that was a very pivotal episode with Rob and Lester too regarding friendship with each other. To make sure that certain, and 'Chuck versus. Tom Sawyer' personally. I many userful stuff here about Jeff's background his glory days just like a teen. That particular really stays with me at night. In . "I have not cried yet. It's been very emotional. In my opinion I'm trying to carry it together. It's strange to think about it will finish. Still feels as if you're in the office, however every time you've that moment where you stand like, 'OK, this really is really the before I will understand this done. This really is really the final I'm prone to maybe say something such as this or consult with they.A We'd our last day round the Buy More. I really blocked inside. They decreased the lights, which we simply was around with an hour talking about tales... every one of these names which recollections of, like, 'Remember once we did this?' Or 'Remember once we did that? Remember once we shot the pilot?'" Vik Sahay, "Lester Patel" "I've just always really loved singing the big, classic, epic tunes. Individuals which are difficult to tackle. You understand, I decided the song 'Fat-Bottomed Girls' once we did Comic-Disadvantage. Coping with that kind of massivity actually was stunning and wonderful, also to be capable of sing that kind of factor, I am unsure. The Who, and basically kind of these giant - what is the word? - rock-operatic-type tunes find I've loved doing most likely probably the most. [Creedence Clearwater Revival] was great." "I gone after La for your show, so these individuals are actually my base, my tribe, my family members, cheap they're such unbelievable people remains instrumental inside me being okay in this particular new, crazy town. But as time continues, I'll realize progressively more how crucial that has been personally... We did a scene, me and Scotty, and eliminate within it. It's a really large chapter to seal, which is very, very, very emotional. You understand, I've been a guy who's been somewhat tickly, somewhat edgy to grip alternative activities, since this can be happening, it's very, very heartbreaking... You have to be eloquent throughout these moments... the emotion kind of prohibits that. If only to make use of words aside from 'family,' aside from 'bittersweet,' but people are right." Chuck designers share a couple of of the favorite episodes Ryan McPartlin, "Devon 'Captain Awesome' Woodcomb" "This season In my opinion I made the blooper reel because I possibly could not escape the word 'calla lilies.' It absolutely was like I'd my tongue tied also it didn't help that we had Josh Gomez making fun of me off camera to the level it got a whole lot worse, when an actress goes lower that slippery slope, playing up. I'd the giggles." "You'll find some really sweet moments, too, that we got clogged-on becoming an actor that you just sign up for the scene like our wedding actually was sweet, the majority of us round the beach together... Personally, i tend not to overuse the word 'melancholy,' but it is at this time around. But to look looking back and realize that it's throughout now, I am one of the bigger sissies round the cast. I really get blocked which i recieve emotional easily knowning that it's goodbye... I obtained my tears out other family people . of shooting. It absolutely was too sad." Joshua Gomez, "Morgan Grimes" "[The frosted tips] kind of increased to end up part of me... I desired to operate home for reasons uknown. And So I am driving in the lot, and i'm throughout my Toyota Prius and my frosted tips... This individual arrives in the lot, and I am unsure what went lower - it absolutely was a blown light or whatever it absolutely was. He provided some form of large honk, finger, whatever it absolutely was, which i had been like, 'What the f---!' Therefore I get swept up to him, we go to a light, and i'm like, 'Dude... I clearly had the very best of way!' I obtained into this entire tough-guy factor. And he'' searching at me like, 'Are you against the mind at this time around?A Which I have a look inside my rearview mirror, which i start to see the tips, which time passes, 'Oh... garbage!' I kind of reverse which time passes, 'I'm sorry. I am sorry,A which i kind of just accomplish throughout my Prius. I used to be like, 'Never mind. You're right, you're right.'" "I had been doing the ultimate scene inside the Buy More... Of all of the sets and everything, that's one which, in my opinion, type of includes the show forever. And then we kind of mentioned evening in it, which we didn't desire to leave. Most of us just kind of was there in the little circle talking about typically the most popular moments, from Pineapple to merely all the mayhem that's happened there. C.S. Lee because cowboy hat, just the guns and 'You know very well what it cost in Buy More dollars, Chuck?' He was awesome. Therefore I left which i simply felt it, like, 'That's the ultimate time I'll walk off that set.' It struck me, like, 'Oh, wow. This can be truly over.'" Adam Baldwin, "John Casey" "I loved coping with Barbara-Anne Moss. She's an authentic professional, and mother of lovely kids. She's a very stable, relaxed, confident professional to make use of, and [Casey got a little of] sexy time, too. Gomez is amusing to make use of. He has a tendency to bring the design and style for the scene. I'm just the quiet sniper button that will reach hopefully close it, once the authors create a great line, within the finish. But, I merely play from him and roll from it. I had been joking about putting together an Of Rats and Males production, off Hollywood Boulevard. I wager that could be great." "It's emotional. Personally, I've experienced series before where there's been being that have been premature. With that certain, ultimately may have loved to own had another nine episodes to handle the whole season, In my opinion 91 cases of a demonstrate that was round the bubble is a superb long-term. I'm happy with the course that people took. Thx that individuals could appreciate this far, therefore i don't feel sad. I have every one of these people numbers in addition to their e-mails." Yvonne Strahovski, "Sarah Master" "I like the Thailand episode, 'Phase 3.' You'll find lots of moments, though. In my opinion, particularly, this season remains among the most popular ones. We've glued a lot more, understanding that it's the finish, specially the lately. We've been going out a lot more, just like a cast, and basically enabling ourselves time for you to soak everything up before everything finishes." "I am unable to stop crying. I cried each day, this entire month. I've been crying, every day. I'm prone to cry now. It's horrible. I cried yesterday once i did my last fight scene, ever." Zachary Levi, "Chuck Bartowski" "I like that individuals who've carried out my parents inside the show have both kind of been - you understand, Linda [Hamilton] is kind of a parent on set, Scott [Bakula] was as being a father on set. We stood a lot to keep. He imparted plenty of understanding in my opinion. His journey on Quantum Leap appeared as if mine here, because it absolutely was like all day long lengthy, each day, go, go, go, crazy several hours... Inside the pilot [From the Micrograms yelling personally and Josh... I introduced my Xbox 360 360 and 'Gears of War,' that have just emerge, the first, which i'd hooked it up to flat-screen inside our store, which i was just present playing between takes, and constantly Micrograms going, 'Guys! I really want you! Seriously!A And pause it, run back, after which it go and play more. That pilot was only a really magical time. It's crazy to think about it has been five years since we did that. But concurrently, it's like all memory such as this: It seems appreciate it was yesterday, plus it seems enjoy it might be an eternity ago." "Sarah Lancaster which i, i had been filming the ultimate scene that individuals occasion to shoot inside the Awesomes' apartment which we're able to not really deal with testing. We started saying our lines and basically started crying. It absolutely was really nutty, you understand? Sarah's been my sister for five years which i would not, couldn't possibly have cast others because role... so lovely and therefore gifted and gorgeous as well as that. It's strange being attracted for your sister, to begin with, that's strange. Next, we have been very brother-and-sister and encouraging. Watching her live existence and uncover the man of her dreams and also got married this will let you baby, on-screen and off, it's incredible. To become standing there and saying goodbye, that stuff really will enable you to get. Which I can not let us suppose it's striking us very hard, I am in a position to only assume and hope the fans, because they are watching the finale, the two-hour special, are gonna feel much the same way. It's good. It's cathartic. It's therapeutic. It is not always tears of enjoyment, but it's tears of love.In . Chuck's two-hour series finale airs Friday at 8/7c on NBC. FBI shuts down Megaupload.com

Megaupload.com, one of the world's most popular sources of online piracy, has been shut down by a federal indictment issued Thursday. The so-called cyberlocker enabled file-sharing said to be teeming with movies and TV shows for as many as 50 million daily visitors a day. Megaupload.com has been measured as the 13th most popular website on the planet. The FBI, which led the investigation, characterized the indictment as "among the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought by the United States." The indictment says the site's backers have generated revenues totaling $175 million. The indictment targets seven individuals including Kim Dotcom, aka Kim Schmitz and Kim Tim Jim Vestor, the alleged ringleader of the operation. He and three others were arrested in Auckland, New Zealand, on Thursday. The indictment hits the ring with a raft of charges including racketeering, copyright infringement and money laundering that each carry anywhere from five to 20 years of prison time. All told, the Megaupload empire is spread across 18 different domains with servers in Ashburn, Va., Washington, D.C., the Netherlands and Canada. The shuttering of Megaupload comes as piracy has emerged as hot-button issue on Capitol Hill, where the SOPA and PIPA proposals could provide the government with powerful--and controversial--new tools for fighting copyright infringement. FX Networks Big Risk With Sheen

First Published: January 15, 2012 3:03 PM EST Credit: Getty Images PASADENA, Calif. -- Caption Charlie Sheen is seen at Foxs All-Star Party at Castle Green in Pasadena, Calif. on January 8, 2012 The head of the FX network said Sunday he still hasnt seen a script for Charlie Sheens new sitcom Anger Management, which is due to premiere in June. Thats a little late, conceded John Landgraf, FX president and general manager. It illustrates the grand gamble made by the cable network, one with a potentially big payoff. FX usually produces its own series, and Landgraf said hes never ordered one without seeing a pilot episode, much less a script. Anger Management, loosely based on the 2003 movie about a troubled therapist who disrupts his patients lives, is produced by Debmar-Mercury, a subsidiary of the Lionsgate production company. Landgraf said he has faith in Bruce Helford, former producer of The Drew Carey Show and the creative force behind the new series. The executive said hes met with Sheen, and is confident the actor is trying to pull his life together following the drug-fueled meltdown that led to his firing from CBS Two and a Half Men. Charlie has 30 years of incredible professionalism under his belt, Landgraf said. He was respected by the crew of Two and a Half Men. Then he had probably the most epic meltdown in the history of television. But he really cares about the quality of his work. Successful television executives need to bet successfully on the right people to go into business with, and also the right time to go into business with them, he said. Sheen wants to do a show where he is navigating a complicated relationship with his daughter, much like he is doing in real life, Landgraf said. He said he wouldnt be interested in the show if Sheen did not exhibit some self-awareness of what hes gone through in life. I believe in redemption, he said. FX has ordered 10 episodes of Anger Management, and will pair it on the schedule with reruns of Two and a Half Men. It expects a strong debut for curiosity reasons. If it does well after that, FX will consider ordering 90 more, which would put FX in the lucrative business of being able to sell repeats of the show in syndication to other networks. Its all a bet, Landgraf said. Could I be spectacularly wrong about this bet? he asked. Yes. Copyright 2012 by The Associated Press. All rights reserved. Rachel McAdams Romance Tip: Only Date Former Co-Stars

First Published: January 3, 2012 4:29 PM EST Credit: Glamour LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Rachel McAdams on the February 2012 cover of Glamour magazineRachel McAdams might be known for heating up the big screen with some of Hollywoods hottest leading men, but the actress doesnt date her co-stars at least, not until theyve finished working together. A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I dont think its very conducive, the 33-year-old star told Glamour magazines February issue. Rachel is currently dating British actor Michael Sheen, who she co-starred with in Midnight in Paris. Its too distracting. Every relationship Ive had with a coworker has come after the fact, because you wind up actually spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie, she explained. The actress next project, The Vow, where she plays a married woman suffering from amnesia alongside Channing Tatum, initially concerned the star. I was worried we might not [have chemistry,] because we were more like brother and sister, like buds, she told the mag. Channing is very outgoing, very kind and a lot of fun to work with. As for Rachels crushes on fellow actors, the big screen beautys heart beats for a few men from her youth. I loved soap operas when I was young, so Antonio Sabato Jr. and Maurice Benard from General Hospital. And who could forget Josh Brolin in The Goonies? The Vow hits theaters on February 10.
